Rides to Church

Rides to Church This ministry provides assistance for those who are unable to get to church. Volunteers will pick up the person at their residence and return them home after Mass. Call the parish office for rides to church at 815-625-1134.

Prayer Chain

The Sacred Heart Prayer chain is coordinated through the parish office.  Prayer chain members can be updated either by phone or email.  Sacred Heart has over 100 prayer warriors.  To become a member of this important ministry or to request prayers, please call the parish office at 815-625-1134, or email [email protected].

First Friday Visits

If requested Father will visit a homebound parishioner around the first Friday of each month. The visits are scheduled in advance. As with communion to the homebound, this can be on a permanent or temporary basis by simply calling the parish office.

Communion to the Homebound

Communion to Homebound Catholic parishioners who are unable to attend Holy Mass are brought Communion by Eucharistic Ministers every weekend following Mass.
