The celebration of the Mass is the source and summit of all we do here at Sacred Heart. It is through the celebration of the sacraments that we celebrate the milestones of our lives.
Mass
It would be easier for the world to survive without the sun than to do without Holy Mass.
~ St. Pio of Pietrelcina

Eucharistic Adoration
Eucharistic Adoration is the adoration of Jesus Christ present in the Holy Eucharist. The Eucharist is displayed in a special holder called a monstrance, and parishioners are encouraged to come to pray and worship Jesus. Christ’s great love for us was shown when he was crucified on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins and give us eternal life. He loves us without limit, and offers Himself to us in the Holy sacrament of the Eucharist. Can we not give Jesus a few minutes of love and adoration in return?
Eucharistic Adoration occurs Friday mornings, beginning at 730am and concluding with Benediction at 10:00am. Come spend time with our Lord.
First Communion
First Communion traditionally takes place during the 2nd grade year, either through the Religious Education classes or Catholic School. The full year of classwork is required for preparation. R.E. classes begin in October and conclude at the end of April.
Generally speaking, First Communion takes place during the 11 AM Mass the last Sunday of April.
Please contact the Coordinator of Religious Education for children beyond 2nd grade that need to receive the Sacrament of First Communion. Classes are available as needed.
